Meaningful Lives

Apr 21, 2024

We believe in the equal right for a person with a learning disability, autism and other support needs to have a full and meaningful life.

The term “Day Opportunities” means a package of community-based day time activities which aim to engage adults with a learning disability in areas such as

  • further education
  • volunteering
  • paid supported employment
  • social enterprise activity
  • and opportunities to meet and make friends and use local leisure and recreational facilities.

These services are separate from buildings-based day care facilities and accessed through general transport.
