New Website to Help the Community

We are excited to announce the launch of our new website, designed to offer information, resources and support to the learning disability community.  This includes individuals with a learning disability, autism and other support needs; their families; and those working in the sector.

Key Features of the New ARC NI Website:

• Modern Design and Improved Navigation: The revamped website features a clean, modern design that is easy to navigate, ensuring users can quickly find the information they need.
• Accessibility: Designed with accessibility in mind, the website meets the highest standards to ensure it is usable by everyone, including individuals with disabilities.
• Resource Library: Users can access a wide range of resources, including articles, guides, and research reports, to stay informed about the latest developments in the field of learning disabilities.  This section will continue to grow.
• Events and Training: Users can access up-to-date information on events, training sessions, and workshops, enabling you to enhance your skills and knowledge.  Online booking is also available.

• Community Engagement: A dedicated section of news and stories which highlight what going on in the learning disability community.
• Accessible Information Service: Users can learn more about ARC NI’s accessible information service which provides Easy Read and plain English scripts for films, ensuring that everyone, regardless of their literacy level can access information.

“We are thrilled to launch our new website, which was made possible through Dormant Funds Account delivered by the National Lottery Community Fund.  We hope the website reflects our commitment to supporting and empowering the learning disability community in Northern Ireland,” said Leslie-Anne Newton, ARC NI Director. “This new platform will allow us to connect more effectively with anyone in the community that shares the same vision as ARC NI, and provide valuable resources, whilst promoting greater awareness and understanding.”

The launch of the new website is a significant step in ARC NI’s ongoing mission of ‘changing thinking, changing practice, changing lives’ by offering anyone access to our training through an online booking facility.  This will further assist us working together to ‘make real change happen’.
