Health Committee – Learning Disability Model

We have been supporting the work being led by the Learning Disability Unit in the Department of Health to reform services for people with a learning disability.  This work has been informed by data and evidence and it is reviewing how to achieve improved outcomes for people supported and their family carers.  The Department plans to consult with the public on the final draft in Summer/Autumn 2024.

The NI Health Committee received a briefing update from the Department of Health and asked some questions in May 2024.
