Over 17,000 civil servants have now completed JAM (Just a Minute) card training.
The Northern Ireland Civil Service has achieved a big milestone. Over 17,000 civil servants have now completed JAM (Just a Minute) card training. This helps make our public services more inclusive and supportive.
The JAM Card is a tool for people with learning difficulties, autism, or communication challenges. It helps them tell others that they need “Just A Minute” of extra patience. This simple card or app makes it easier for people to get the support they need in everyday situations.
It is an important step in raising awareness about disabilities and making workplaces and public services more inclusive.
Since the JAM Card was started in 2012, it’s use has grown a lot. Now, more than 2,500 organisations in Northern Ireland use it.
Using JAM Cards help
The Civil Service’s success with the JAM Card is a great example of how small changes can make a big difference to people’s lives.
