This Network gives Adult Safeguarding Champions a chance to meet with each other and the Department of Health’s policy team. This is the team responsible for drafting the Adult Safeguarding Bill.
It aims to
make preventative and protective practice consistent across Northern Ireland
showcase best practice at an organisational level
and identify opportunities for collaboration and learning.

ARC NI submitted a response to the public consultation on a draft Adult Protection Bill and most recently were invited to present oral evidence at the NI Executive’s Health Committee.
